A’ Design Award Gala Night, Teatro Sociale di Como
There are places that hold stories before we even step in. The Teatro Sociale di Como is one of them. A 19th-century theatre that still breathes with velvet silence, carved columns, and echoes of applause. That night, it was the stage for the A’ Design Award Gala. And somehow, I found myself not in the audience, but among the honored.

I arrived with quiet pride and a slight unease. These things are not my comfort zone. But the atmosphere made it easier, artists, designers, architects, dreamers from every corner of the world, all gathered for one reason: creation. Recognition, yes, but more than that, sharing.

Then came the surprise.
Qymira.
She flew all the way from Hong Kong, unannounced. Stepped out of the Como lake like a vision, wearing the Roaring Lion choker, the piece that won the Silver A’ Design Award. It was made for her, to be worn on stage, but seeing it under those lights, in this place, on her, made everything align. Her elegance silenced the room for a moment.
It was not just a piece of jewelry anymore. It was alive.
We didn’t need big speeches. The choker spoke. So did the way she carried it, the way she looked at me, and the way the old theatre seemed to nod in approval.
A night of art, passion, and the kind of madness that keeps creators awake at night.
Grazie, Como.
Grazie, Qymira.
We’ll remember.
