There are moments in life where everything you’ve been working toward converges. Shadow Transit is one of those moments for Qymira.
In this upcoming feature film, she takes on her first leading role as Celeste, while composing and interpreting the film’s score. Her theme piece, “Shade of My Shadow,” composed with Richard Taylor and performed with members of the Qymira Symphony Orchestra, forms the emotional spine of the film.
More than a performance, it is the convergence of everything she has built: orchestral composition, visual storytelling, emotional architecture, and the ability to hold light and darkness in a single frame. Qymira in Shadow Transit.
The Jewelry Created for the Story
For Shadow Transit, I designed each piece uniquely for Celeste, not to decorate the character, but to speak for her.
The Lion Choker
Award-winning. Created originally for Qymira. A symbol of presence, power, and silence before the storm.
The Amorae Ring
A vow articulated in white gold and cushion cut diamond, love held, remembered, and unfinished.
Lumen et Umbra Bracelets
Light and Shadow, a duality that defines the film.
Umbra: silver, plated in black rhodium, engraved“In every shadow, I feel you.”Set with white diamonds.
Lumen: silver, plated in white rhodium, engraved“In every light, I see you.”Set with aquamarine, the color of clarity after breaking waves.
They are not props. They carry the arc of Celeste herself, two forces mirroring one another, with a meaning disclosed only at the end of the film.

VERGEZ in the Cast Ensemble
Actor Yoshi Sudarso wears the Freedom neck chain and the Double Trouble ring, while KC Montero wears the Legacy ring. Each was selected to align quietly with character identity.
A Film of Thresholds

Directed by Pedring Lopez, Shadow Transit moves between noir intensity and quiet emotional depth. It is less about spectacle and more about what binds us to one another, and what we choose to carry when we walk away.
The emotional core of Shadow Transit sits close to the lyrics of “Shade of My Shadow.”
“Shade of my shadow, you follow me close.” It’s the feeling of something that has shaped you, familiar and heavy and learning, step by step, to loosen its hold.
The film moves between light and shadow, as two parts of the same story, two forces that cannot exist without one another.
This is where Lumen et Umbra lives.
A Personal Note
To design for a story is to listen to what is unspoken. Here, it was about balance, shadow, light, longing, memory and the thin line where all of them meet.
